Who we are

WebFoundry is a Canadian-owned web agency based in Ontario. We design, build and host websites for trades businesses. This policy explains what information we collect when you use webfoundry.ca, submit one of our forms, or sign up for a website.

What we collect

• Information you submit. Name, email, phone number, business name and business details when you fill in the contact, get-started, giveaway or intake forms. This includes anything you type into a message box.
• Your signup answers. If you complete the signup, the answers about your business, services, cities, hours and domain that we use to build your site.
• Payment information. When card payments are offered at signup, they are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
• Technical information with form submissions. A one-way hash of your IP address (used only to limit spam and abuse) and the page the form was sent from.

Cookies and browser storage

We do not set advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not currently run analytics on this site. Your browser's local storage is used for two small conveniences: remembering that you closed the giveaway banner, and saving a draft of your signup answers on your own device so you can come back to them. Our spam check, Cloudflare Turnstile, may use its own technical signals to tell people from bots.

How we use it

• To reply to your message and to build and run your website.
• To send you account, billing and service emails. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time.
• To prevent spam and abuse of our forms.

We never sell your information.

Who handles it for us

We use these service providers to run the site and process what you submit: Cloudflare (hosting, DNS, our form-processing service and spam checks), Resend (email delivery), Google (internal lead tracking spreadsheets and email) and Stripe (payments). They process data on our behalf and may store or process it outside Canada.

How long we keep it

We keep form submissions and signup answers while they are needed to respond to you and to run your account. You can ask us to delete them at any time.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing hello@webfoundry.ca. We will respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change how we handle your information, we will update this page and email existing customers.
